“The Jewish Cemetery of Gradisca, lacks the size and grandeur of the cemeteries of Nova Gorica and Trieste, but remains, on a smaller scale, an interesting and significant example of Jewish cemeterial architecture in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. Furthermore, it is the only intact historical testimony of the presence of a Jewish community in the gracious Friulian city. […] It is found in the countryside, between Gradisca and Mariano.”
